In addition to service opportunities at the group level, there are many opportunities for service at the area level:
- Take a meeting to people in hospitals and institutions who are not able to attend outside meetings on an H&I panel
- Be a helpline volunteer
- Be a group GSR
- Help inform the public that C.A. exists through our public information activities such as poster campaigns and information booths
- Attend an Area Council meeting and join a committee
